Rheinfelden, Germany, 4 March 2020 – At the Euroguss trade fair in Nuremberg from 14 - 16 January 2020, Dr. Stuart Wiesner, Managing Director of Rheinfelden Alloys, gave a presentation on the subject of "Application potentials of die casting alloys for structural components in the field of electric mobility". He presented the characteristics of various AI HP-DC alloys in the area of electric mobility. The use of AI HP-DC alloys is aimed on the one hand at the economical production of structural components, and on the other hand at weight reduction through the use of high-strength alloys. A further objective is the high thermal and electrical conductivity.
